I started my journey in this field not knowing how it would become such a huge part of my life

1999:  Hired as a Residential support staff

2001:  Promoted to Assistant Unit Supervisor

2002:  Promoted to Unit Supervisor

2004:  Linear move to group home manager

2009:  Began my transition from employee to employer, Licensed Mariah’s Family Care Home (4272 W. Highland Blvd)

2013:  Licensed MFCHII (4504 N. 45th Street)

2014:  Licensed MFCHIII (4274 W.  Highland Blvd)

2015:  Certified MFCHIV (10505 W. Jonen Street)

2017:  Certified MFCHV (4485 N. 45th Street)

2017:  Certified MFCH VI (10507 W. Jonen Street)

2019:  Celebrated 10 years of Providing homes for adults with special needs and challenging behaviors

During my 20 plus year career in human services I have always enjoyed working with the more challenging members.  I feel like I can help them by understanding their needs and wants, balancing their behavior and providing consistent care.  MFCH takes into consideration each resident, their abilities, background and develops an individualized program that supports positive behavior with rewarding incentives and goals.
